  • Explore the different mind states that make a person guilty of murder.
  • Explain the difference between murder and manslaughter.
  • Help participants recognize and identify what does and what does not constitute adequate provocation with regard to voluntary manslaughter.
  • Explain the different types of involuntary manslaughter.
  • Encourage participants to reflect on one’s personal responses and consequences towards the use of violence
